Hello People. Welcome to Lyrical Sakura. Today I'm going to speak about my most favorite girl group and now most favorite girl duo KHAN.
Who are KHAN?
For those who don't know about them KHAN were actually a girl group called THE ARK debuted back in 2015 under MusicK Entertainment. And to me they are one of the most talented girl groups I have ever seen. |

I personally prefer a girl group with strong dance steps and hip hop music, less sexy dance, great voices and raps. This girl group fulfilled my every need.
Before they debuted Minju and Euna had collaborated in a song called Goodbye Rain which I recommend listening to if you have not done it yet. Let me help you and add the youtube link for you to see.
Next notable performance is their cover of BTS'S BOY IN LUV cover which they performed with such finesse even BTS themselves reacted to it and praised them.
Their amazing performance of covers by EXO and IKON. They were unstoppable.

Then their debut. They had only one music video. The Light. The music video left me astonished because I really haven't seen many girl groups who had made their debut mv about something that no one usually makes or have guts to make. It's about love but it's about love between a mother and daughter, who dies in a car crash. The music video is a must watch. It is bound to make you cry. Some said that it was a silent tribute to the victims of infamous Sewol Ferry Accident. And also do watch the dance practice.
Not only the concept but also the lyrics have a deep meaning and for once it wasn't dedicated to man or a boy which I found refreshing.
What intrigued me not only their concept but also their flawless moves, their amazing synchronisation of voices, yes all of them were great singers and dancers, Euna is a great rapper. She's pretty famous from Unpretty Rapster. Even legendary Yoon Mi Rae acknowledged her talent. Listen to this live performance.
Very very unfortunately THE ARK were disbanded by their company and I conclude that to be a historical fault. In fact with the talent they could have been one of the best girl group globally.
But anyway now that they have come back with great song, dance and covers and once again their debut mv is sends a different message. Make sure to watch this until the end.
And the queens are back with their BOY IN LUV dance once again. This time 2x faster dance. They performed it in Weekly Idol.
So at the end I stan them because they are full of talent, they are different, their clothes, choreo, singing, rapping are on point, theywear pretty casual clothes and don't even try to be sexy and cute but they are naturally sexy and cute in their own style.
Also all the readers of this blog I would request you to stan them because you stan KHAN, you stan TALENT.
